Before the debut of TVXQ and Super Junior, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, and Xiah Junsu of TVXQ were meant to be in a R&B group called "Daeneb" (pronunciation), but it fell through.

He was put into a five member group with Leeteuk before the debut of Super Junior, but it fell through. Some of the names for that group were "OK", "Smile", and "Pricor".
